Lynda Ben-Menashe
Lynda Ben-Menashe BA DipEd MEd is the Community Relations and Policy Manager of the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies (NSWJBD), which is the elected representative roof body of the NSW Jewish community. In this role Lynda manages the development of strategic relationships in NSW’s NGO sector with the aim of combatting racism, including antisemitism and building social cohesion generally. Lynda has worked in Australia and Israel in education, publishing and public diplomacy. In the past 2 years she has taken a mixed groups of NGOs on intensive study tours of Israel and Palestine to examine grassroots peacebuilding. She inaugurated in Australia community leadership programs for other - especially emerging - minority communities, which have attracted both state and federal funding. Her passion is innovation in the building of social capital. She loves reading, theatre, travel, shoes and dancing, in no particular order.
