Courage to Care Victoria
Schools Program Coordinator
Victoria
I am proud to work for B\\'nai B\\'rith Courage to Care Victoria with a few other staff members and many passionate and capable volunteers. Courage to Care promotes acceptance across society by:
> Creating awareness of the dangers of prejudice, racism and discrimination
> Educating to challenge attitudes and behaviours
> Demonstrating that every individual can make a difference
> Transforming “bystander” behaviour to “upstander” behaviour.
We inspire people to be upstanders by showing them examples of Righteous Among the Nations who saved Jewish people during the Holocaust. We also highlight the actions of our Local Heroes, Victorians who took action to improve their communities by helping other.
