What makes a biblical text "relevant" - especially in complicated circumstances? Are some passages more useful or important than others (or not)? Why should we study anything at all? In this session, we'll consider some classical and modern Jewish approaches to learning, especially in difficult times, and ask what makes a text "relevant" at all.
