Bibi Netanyahu's electoral success has often confused many diaspora Jews. Israel's ethnic divisions are not often discussed outside the country but dominate the way many Israelis see their political system and themselves. The history of how Mizrachi Jews were treated in the first few decades of the state is essential to understanding Israel today. This conversation will be honest, brutal and, hopefully, enlightening.
