Poets make singular observers of their lives and times. Meet three Jewish poets whose legacy (in the case of the late Ranasinghe and Ezekiel) and work (in the case of Habib) has been to capture their very different diaspora perspectives in stanza and verse. Spanning Germany and England during the Shoah, the heyday of the Indian advertising industry and ghosts of the Judiera of Rhodos, these poets and their writing each tell us essential truths about being Jewish.
