A hot, spicy blend of flavours, CHUTNEY puts a modern twist on klezmer music. Drawing on our Eastern European and Middle Eastern heritage, we play a high-energy mix of original compositions plus our own arrangements of traditional dance melodies, with a dash of gypsy jazz, tango and Israeli folk music thrown in for good measure. We have performed extensively throughout Sydney since our debut at Limmud Oz last year, and are excited to return to the Limmud stage! Comprising well-known Sydney musicians Ben Adler (violin), Paul Khodor (keyboard), Ben Samuels (clarinet), Oscar Gross (bass) and Matt Druery (drums).
