In this session we will discuss how contemporary culture promotes the feeling that whatever one is, it is never enough. By examining both Jewish and other sources, we will examine the effects of advertising and social media on our sense of self-worth, and then explore wisdom from various traditions about how to promote a long-term vision of happiness in the midst of the Western loop of endless dissatisfaction.
