Baking is having a resurgence and so are bubka recipes. Bubka conjures up tradition, memories of childhood and that magical first bite of gooey chocolate and rich buttery dough. From humble beginnings to Seinfeld, and recipes by celebrated chefs like Martha Stewart and Ottolenghi, bubka has evolved and become famous. I love bubka and will share my nanna's bubka story and history along with the historical significance of bubka in the world. I will also share an online demonstration of the best bubka recipe I've discovered.
