What was life like for young Jewish women coming of age in 1930s Poland? Drawing upon an incredible collection of autobiographies written by Polish Jews on the eve of the Holocaust, this session explores the lives of Jewish women in interwar Poland, and illuminates their struggle to determine who they were, where they belonged, and what their future held in store.
